1. Natasha Leggero on fellow roaster Martha Stewart: “I’m not saying Martha Stewart is old, but she needs a new Walker more than the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.”

2. Hannibal Buress on Bieber’s music: “You were the fifth most-hated person in the world last year. Kim Jong-Un didn’t even rate that high — and he uses your music to torture people.”

3. Ludacris on Shaquille O’Neal: “Shaq is the first player in the NBA whose shoe size, IQ and jersey are all the same number.

4. Buress on the quality of the dais: “Y’all know it’s a shitty dais when Ludacris is the best actor on it.”

5. Davidson on Kevin Hart fans: “If you don’t know who Kevin Hart is, congratulations on finishing college. Kevin’s next special is just him jiggling keys at you.”

6. Leggero on her male roasters: “There is a lot of star power in here. These guys have made millions — in child support payments.”

7. D’elia on O’Neal: “People don’t realize this, but those ‘I Can’t Breathe” T-shirts were about Shaq’s last season with the Celtics.”

8. Martha Stewart on Hart’s hosting skills: “Kevin, listening to you yell your jokes for the past two hours is the hardest time I’ve ever done.”

9. Stewart on Leggero: “I do a lot of gardening, but you are without a doubt the dirtiest, used-up hoe I have ever seen.”

10. Leggro in a show-stopping joke on the brain power in the room: “Kevin has a huge Napoleon complex. Kevin, Napoleon was the leader of France. Ludacris — France is in Europe. Justin, Europe is a continent. Shaq — a continent is not a free breakfast.”

11. Martha Stewart on Bieber’s social media influence: “Justin, I’m sure it’s great to have 60 million followers on Twitter, but the only place people will be following you in jail is into the shower.”

12. Snoop Dogg on Kevin Hart: “Kevin is from Philadelphia, just like Bill Cosby. And just like Bill Cosby — women can’t tell when Kevin is inside them.”

13. Jeffrey Ross on Bieber’s ex-girlfriend: “Did you break up with Selena Gomez because she grew a mustache before you?”

The “Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber” airs Mar. 30 at 10 p.m.

Monkeys Learn to Recognize Themselves in a Mirror – And Promptly Check Out Their Butts

What would you do if you saw yourself in a mirror for the first time?

When, after weeks of training, rhesus monkeys learned the true identity of their reflections, one of the first things they did was check out all the locales on their bodies they’d never before seen — and we mean every intimate nook and cranny.

Man fired after not coming to work for 24 years

So.

Shri A.K. Verma, an executive engineer with India’s Central Public Works Department (CPWD), took an earned leave in December 1990 and never came back to work.

Now, after 24 years and one month, he has been fired by the CPWD “for unauthorized absence from duty.”

Verma sought extensions of his initial leave, but they were not granted; however, he still refused to come to work. In 1992, an inquiry was launched against him; in 2007, charges were brought against him by the then-minister of urban development.

Yet he was still not terminated — until now.

The Indian bureaucracy is known for being painstakingly slow — in fact, it’s the “worst in Asia,” according to a 2012 report from Hong Kong-based Political and Economic Risk Consultancy.

India’s labor laws are so restrictive, Reuters reports, it is very difficult to fire a public official for anything besides criminal misconduct.

But things are shifting. Shortly after taking office in March 2014, India’s Minister of Urban Development Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu directed a review of cases such as Verma’s, which had been sitting in a drawer since 2007.

In 2014, India launched a fingerprint scanning program to control the work hours of public servants, and real-time results are posted online.

Research Says Men Who Take Selfies Have More Psychopathic Tendencies

Beware of the Tinder match who posts a lot of selfies.

New research from a team at The Ohio State University shows men who take frequent selfies display higher than average psychopathic tendencies, while those editing their photos before uploading are more self-objectifying.

Whether the pictures were edited or #NoFilter, both selfie-posting groups were more narcissistic than the average male.

The team, led by researcher Jesse Fox, asked 800 men between the ages of 18 and 40 to respond to a digital survey about social media use and anti-social behavior.

Before you start worrying you’re dating the next Ted Bundy, however, you should note all personalities were within the range of normal behavior.

Elevated psychopathic traits don’t necessarily make you a cold-blooded killer.

What’s most interesting about Fox’s conclusions is her revelation men actually do self-objectify fairly often, especially in such an image-obsessed culture.

Because self-doubt and constant nitpicking can lead to self-harm and body dysmorphia, Fox hopes to gain a better understanding of the way selfies and social media change male behavior.

In a press release, Fox said,

We know that self-objectification leads to a lot of terrible things, like depression and eating disorders in women…

With the growing use of social networks, everyone is more concerned with their appearance. That means self-objectification may become a bigger problem for men.

Her next project? A comparable selfie study involving exclusively women, which she says is already revealing increased narcissistic traits.

Blame that front-facing camera all you want, but your personality changes a little with each selfie you snap.
